The Sailboat Shop is an Authorized Dealer and Service Center for Tohatsu Outboard engines from 2.5HP through 25HP. We stock many of the smaller engines typically used on sailboats. Larger engines and engines with additional features (electric start, remote control, etc.) can be ordered at any time. Genuine parts and service are also available. Thinking about purchasing a Tohatsu from an online dealer. Please note that in many cases, these online dealers can beat our prices by a few dollars. However, the engine will not be prepped (no oil, never having been run and checked out, the idle not adjusted, etc.). The Sailboat Shop not only preps every outboard we sell, but will go over operating the motor in a test tank to ensure you understand the controls and the care needed to make sure the engine lasts you a long time. We will also do warranty work on motors we sell--whereas motors bought from online...well it's hard to mail an engine back when you have a problem.

Is a Tohatsu a Mercury? Tohatsu manufactures all Nissan outboards and most Mercury outboard models up to 20 HP.
