The Vanguard 15, designed by Bob Ames, the double-handed one-design boat of the future, is here today delivering high speed and fun in a simple, durable, lightweight package. The V-15 is the perfect boat for sailing in your local yacht club fleet, international caliber team racing or knocking around with the family.

The V-15 is lighter, tougher, easier to transport, and more fun than any other boat in its class; and, like all Vanguard boats, it affords you access to all the knowledge, support, and service that Vanguard has become famous for over the past 25 years.

From the outset the V-15 was designed to provide high performance in an extremely simple, comfortable, and durable package. The V-15 hull shape was tank tested to plane easily in moderate air and carry a wide range of crew weights effortlessly. The result is a hull that can be sailed competitively by crews ranging from 260-340 lbs. The wide, flat stern provides unmatched stability and control in all wind and sea conditions.

The Vanguard 15 Class Association sanctions hundreds of events all over the nation. From family-oriented "Great Escape" weekends to a regional and national level racing circuit, everyone will have something to gun for. Tight one-design class rules have been developed to ensure that your boat will remain simple and competitive for many years to come.
