Precision Boat Works Stands the Test of Time

Here is an interesting look at companies that made "family" trailerable sailboats between 13 and 28 feet that are no longer in business or do not make sailboats anymore. 1978 was used because that is the year Precision Boatworks opened their doors.

Precision has thrived for all these years in part to the Porter Brothers resolve to building high quality, well-mannered, family-friendly sailboats that are designed by an extremely talented naval architect, Jim Taylor. Precision also continues to grow due to the dedication of many great dealers (like ourselves) and of course, due to a very loyal group of happy Precision owners. These are but a few facts that help make the new boat Precision buyer not only comfortable that they have made a good decision but a decision they will be proud to own and sail.
